I was recently awarded the Lighton International Artists Exchange Program grant from the Kansas City Artists Coalition to help fund my Arctic Circle residency this fall!
What does this mean? It covers a good chunk of my travel to Norway and the program fees! I'm going to Svalbard to board an ice-breaking Barque and cruise the arctic! Killer whales, arctic fox, giant Lion's Mane Jellies, and polar bears are a distinct possibility.... plus this remote, silent landscape.
